This is our second vintage from the Doctor's Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation. The wine has all the aromatic flash and complex flavors that the vineyard's clonal selections of Pinot Noir offer: the small berried, thin skinned Swan clone with its light color and finely scented bouquet; the powerful Pommard clone with its intensity, depth and pure fruit characteristics, and the very dark Clone 777 with its rich and velvety characteristics. The wine is a blend of all three clones, blended into a harmonious, beautifully drinking wine.
