The Muscat Canelli grapes are from our home vineyard in Napa Valley, and our fortifying spirits were distilled by Carneros Alambic Distillery. The wine is pure alchemy. We have four different kinds of spirits in our cellar, and these are dosed into the fermenting must. This allows for a slow fermentation to extract all of the Muscat aromas and flavors while at the same time allowing the brandy and the wine to knit together seamlessly.
The wine can be paired with blue cheese, foie gras, and a wide variety of desserts. It finishes dry, not sweet, and can last open in the refrigerator for many weeks.
