Muscat Canelli

Select bunches of late harvest Muscat Canelli grapes from our home vineyard are hand-picked in late fall each year, fermented in small oak barrels then lightly fortified with the finest alembic pot-distilled brandy. The result is a finished wine that is naturally sweet and lightly fortified to around 14 percent alcohol. We produced vintage-dated Muscat Canelli Dessert Wines until 2002 by which time we had enough barrels of this wine aging in our cellars to make a non-vintage Reserve Muscat, blended across all the old barrels. Our first offering of this wine, Lot One, rivals the finest Muscats from the Russian Czar’s collection at Massandra.
